To better protect your library accounts and streamline access, new sign-in procedures are now in effect for Law Society of Ontario licensees accessing the Great Library’s eResources. These changes are part of a broader initiative to enhance security and improve the overall user experience.
Effective immediately, Law Society licensees must sign in using a Library eResources account to access the Great Library’s electronic resources that require user authentication. Accounts have been created for licensees using their preferred email address listed in their LSO Connects profiles. Licensees will need to set their password the first time they sign in by selecting “Reset Password” and following the on-screen instructions. We’ve prepared step-by-step instructions to walk licensees through the new sign-in process.
These changes will not affect non-licensees, such as licensing candidates or agents of licensees. These users will continue to access eResources using the barcode and password credentials provided by our library team. On the Access to eResources Sign-In Page, they will select the “Non-Licensee” option.
