Don’t Worry, We’re Open!

Restoration work outside the main entrance to the Great Library might have you wondering if we’re still open. We are! Behind the scaffolding and plywood, business continues as usual at the Great Library.

Preparations began this week for a project to restore the original ceiling finishes in the court side of Osgoode Hall. The actual repair work will take place weekday evenings after 6:00 PM.

Access to the Great Library will remain unchanged. On weekdays from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, all library users can enter Osgoode Hall through the main entrance on the south side of the building opposite Queen Street West. Proceed up the blue-carpeted stairs to the main library doors.

On weekday evenings after 5:00 PM, on weekends and on holidays, the main entrance to Osgoode Hall is closed. During these hours, only Law Society licensees and articling/LPP candidates may access the library. Entry to the building is through the Law Society reception doors on the east side of Osgoode Hall. Law Society identification is required.

And don’t forget, you can contact us by email, live chat and phone.
