Those numbers represent the rapid growth of HeinOnline’s full-text Law Journal Library in less than 20 years. When launched in 2000, this collection held just 25 journals. By 2006 there were 80 titles, and as of January 2018, the total reached 2,500.
In addition to the size of this online collection, the Law Journal Library is an indispensable research tool for the following reasons:
- international coverage, including over 100 full-text Canadian law journals
- retrospective coverage – wherever possible HeinOnline includes all volumes of a journal back to inception.
- image-based PDF format that is fully searchable and preserves original charts, photos and footnotes.
