Just in time for Access to Justice Week, copies of our Self-Represented Litigants Resource are now available in print at the library. There are three editions available: General Resources, Family Law Resources, and Housing Law Resources. Come by the library to pick up a free physical copy!

The Self-Represented Litigants Resource

The staff at the Great Library have curated a list of resources that offer free or subsidized legal information and services. This resource is meant to guide the public or self-represented litigants to those sources that will help them to make informed decisions concerning their legal situation. This resource includes sections on general law matters as well as family law and housing law matters.

New Website: Ontario’s Family Law Limited Scope Services Project

This week saw the launch of a new website for Ontario’s Family Law Limited Scope Services Project. The Project is funded by The Law Foundation of Ontario. Its aim is to improve access to family justice for lower and middle income Ontarians by increasing the use of unbundled or limited scope legal services.
