The Great Library is pleased to announce that we will begin offering online one-on-one legislative research training sessions to interested summer law students, licensing candidates and licensees beginning April 20, 2021.
In these sessions a law librarian can help you refresh your skills or learn research tasks, such as tracing the amendment history of a statute, searching Hansard online, or effectively navigating government legislation websites like eLaws and Justice Laws. We can also provide guidance on tackling a particular legislative research problem you’re currently working on.
Individual sessions of up to 45 minutes in length will be offered every Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. Please sign up for a spot through our online form. Once you’ve signed up for a spot, we will contact you with a confirmation of your date and time and a link to access your session.
