In our last House of Bills update before the summer adjournment, the Legislature was scheduled to return on September 13. However, on September 3 Ontario’s Progressive Conservatives announced that they would be proroguing the legislature until after the federal election. With the September 8 proclamation, the 1st Session of the 42nd Parliament of the province of Ontario has officially been prorogued. The legislature is currently set to return on October 4.
With this date in mind, we hope to resume our weekly House of Bills updates come October 11th. We will post any updates concerning the Legislature here.
