Changes to Print-Sourced Document Delivery Coming May 1, 2023

The Great Library will be making some changes to our document delivery charges and payment process for copies ordered from print-only sources. Starting May 1, 2023, these orders will need to be pre-paid by credit card through the LSO Store. Requesters should continue to use the library’s online order form. Library staff will then provide you with payment instructions.  

A new simplified fee per page-range will also come into effect on May 1, 2023: 

1 – 10 pages $10.00 + HST 

11 – 25 pages $15.00 + HST 

26 – 50 pages $25.00 + HST 

51 – 100 pages $40.00 + HST 

There will be no changes to our service for document delivery from electronic sources. Digital materials will continue to be provided to Law Society licensees free of charge (keeping in mind that requests for documents from the library’s online subscription databases are subject to the terms and conditions of our license agreements).

Limited Document Delivery

Effective Tuesday, March 24, 2020, the Great Library is starting back up its document delivery service to Law Society of Ontario licensees.

  • Requests will be filled from electronic sources only. While the library remains closed, we’re unable to provide scans from materials in our print collection.
  • Please use the document delivery form to make your request. If you do not have access to a web browser, you can email refstaff@lso.ca with your request.
  • Requests will only be fulfilled by email. We do not have the ability to fax, mail, or have requests picked up.
